SUBSTANCE ABUSE ASSESSMENTS
A substance abuse assessment involves multiple questions related to six primary life areas. Based on your responses to these questions your assessor will determine an appropriate recommendation of care, which may or may not include a recommendation for alcohol/drug treatment services. Assessments take approximately 75 to 90 minutes to complete.
INDIVIDUAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELING
Individual substance abuse counseling sessions are appropriate for people who have difficulty participating in group settings and have completed a substance abuse assessment recommending individual substance abuse counseling or low-intensity outpatient treatment. Your counselor will work with you to develop an Individual Treatment Plan based on the results of your alcohol/drug assessment. This plan will be reviewed and/or updated weekly to determine level of progress.
